I'm Emiliano Espinosa, a bilingual financial advisor helping nonprofits and food-and-agriculture business owners build profitable, sustainable companies. For four years, I led programs at the Chesapeake Agriculture Innovation Center, managing a $350,000 budget, a team of five, and educational initiatives that served over 1,000 farmers and food entrepreneurs across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. During that time, I saw the same challenge again and again: hardworking business owners who had no idea if they were actually making money. They were grinding 60-hour weeks without clear financials, making decisions in the dark, and missing out on funding opportunities because their books were a mess. That's why I started Star Books. Today, I work with executive directors, makers, farmers, restaurants, and kitchens generating $200K to $2M in annual revenue.
